Vishnu Sreenivas

Dr. Vishnu Sreenivas is a dedicated General Practitioner with over 5 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, critical care, and general practice. He completed his MBBS from the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) in 2021 and has since been actively involved in the management of a wide spectrum of acute medical emergencies, trauma cases, and chronic lifestyle-related diseases, including diabetes and hypertension, in busy hospital settings. Dr. Vishnu began his medical career with a rotational internship at Dr. Somervell Memorial Medical College, Kerala (2020–2021), where he gained comprehensive exposure across major clinical specialties. He subsequently worked as a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) in the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, and COVID ICU at Valluvanad Multi-Specialty Hospital, Kerala (August 2021 – January 2022), playing an active frontline role during the COVID-19 pandemic and managing critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and resuscitation. From March 2022 to October 2025, Dr. Sreenivas served as an RMO in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, and General OPD at IQRAA Hospital, Kerala. During this period, he strengthened his expertise in emergency response, trauma care, acute medical and cardiac emergencies, and independent OPD consultations, while demonstrating confident clinical decision-making in high-pressure situations. Dr. Vishnu is well trained in emergency and critical care procedures, including endotracheal intubation, central venous and arterial line insertion, hemodialysis catheterization, ECG interpretation, and orthopaedic emergency procedures such as dislocation reduction. He is certified in ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA) and is experienced in the assessment, stabilization, and ongoing management of critically ill patients. He has completed an Advanced Certificate in Practical Diabetology, reflecting his strong interest in evidence-based management of diabetes and metabolic disorders. Known for his calm demeanor, sound clinical judgment, and patient-centred approach, Dr. Sreenivas is committed to delivering safe, efficient, and evidence-based medical care. Dr. Vishnu Sreenivas is fluent in English, Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil, enabling effective communication with patients from diverse backgrounds and ensuring high-quality clinical care.
