Dhwaniben Ranchhodbhai Makwana

Dr. Dhwani Makwana is a Specialist Dermatologist with over 10 years of experience in dermatology, cosmetology, and dermato-surgery. She is known for her compassionate approach, clinical precision, and commitment to evidence-based skincare. She completed her MBBS from The M.S. University of Baroda, India in 2015, followed by a DNB in Dermatology from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2019, and earned her MRCP (UK) in 2022. Dr. Dhwani began her career as a Resident at GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar, and later served as Senior Resident and Assistant Professor in Dermatology at Dr. M.K. Shah Medical College and S.M.S. Hospital, Ahmedabad until 2023. She subsequently worked as a Consultant Dermatologist and Cosmetologist at Eye and Skin+ Advance Hospital, Gandhinagar, before relocating to the UAE in 2025. Dr. Dhwani has presented papers at dermatology conferences and published research in national and international journals. Her academic contributions include studies on vitiligo and thyroid correlation, laser efficacy and safety in tattoo removal, adverse drug reactions, geriatric dermatoses, and a rare case of juvenile hyaline fibromatosis. She has also served as an Executive Committee Member of the IADVL (Gujarat State Branch) and is an active member of IADVL and IMA.
